I bought this expecting a good coat and received an exceptional one. The weight is remarkable — it hangs perfectly without feeling heavy, and the collar stands exactly as photographed. Three months of daily wear and there is no pilling anywhere.

The cloth arrives from a mill in Biella that has woven double-faced wool since 1893. It is bonded, not lined — two faces joined by hand so the coat holds its shape without weight.
The result is a garment that keeps its line through a decade of wear. Horn buttons are cut and polished individually, so no two coats close on quite the same colour.

84% virgin wool, 16% cashmere, double-faced and bonded by hand. Woven at a family mill in Biella, Italy. Horn buttons, cut and polished individually. Unlined by design, so the cloth carries the shape rather than the interfacing.
Relaxed through the body with a deliberate drop shoulder and a mid-calf length. Our model is 178cm and wears a size S. If you prefer a closer line over tailoring, take your usual size; for layering over knitwear, size up.
Complimentary express shipping worldwide on orders over $250, with duties and taxes included at checkout. Orders placed before 14:00 local time are dispatched the same working day and arrive in two to four days.
Sixty days to decide, with prepaid return labels in every order. Exchanges are processed the moment your parcel is scanned, so your new size is reserved before it reaches us. No restocking fees, ever.
Air the coat after wear and brush along the grain with a natural bristle. Dry clean sparingly — twice a season is ample. Store on a broad wooden hanger; never fold across the shoulder. We press and refinish any Celestium coat free of charge.
Traceable fibre from two mills we visit each year, both certified for water recovery and renewable energy. Offcuts return to the mill for re-spinning. Our full cost and impact breakdown is published on every product page.
Every seam, button, and buttonhole is guaranteed for the life of the garment. Send it back for mending, relining, or alteration at any point and we will return it looking as it did in the atelier.
Worn open, over almost nothing.
Drawn for the in-between hours — over tailoring by day, over silk by evening. It asks for very little underneath.

Ordered in Sand after a long deliberation. The finishing on the interior seams is the sort of detail you normally only see at three times the price. Arrived a day early, beautifully packed.
Cut roomier than I anticipated, which suits the silhouette but do consider sizing down if you want it closer. The wool is superb and the horn buttons are genuinely lovely.
It does not announce itself, which is exactly why I bought it. Wears equally well over tailoring and over a slip dress in the evening.
I have worked in menswear for twenty years and the hand-finishing here is honest. Nothing padded, nothing hidden. The drape is the work of the cloth, not the interlining.
Bought Ink first and returned for Vicuña six weeks later. The exchange process was effortless and the styling team helped me settle the size in one email.
Unlined so it is not a deep-winter coat on its own, but over knitwear it is perfect and far more graceful than anything padded.
Arrived in a cloth bag with a spare button and a hand-written card. The whole experience felt considered from order to delivery.
